The XCS achieves an even lighter overall weight at 6.4 ounces thanks to the use of duralumin components, including a lightweight and extremely strong hard anodized duralumin worm shaft. The ergonomic and rugged aluminum frame is dipped in a special alloy coating giving it a lifetime corrosion-free finish.
