The build in scale guides shows the optimal plastic comb size for the binding, so no guessing is needed.   The punching function have a capacity of 23 sheets (standard copy paper 80g/m2 ) with either 19 or 21 rectangular holes. An additional feature is the puncher can punch 3-holes, round, for letter size fitting ring binders. (4-holes for A4) So no need for a big capacity 3-hole punch!   The big handle makes it effortless to use, even when binding big sized jobs.
